The Deep
A collection of illustrations and poster layouts all designed around the central theme of the deep ocean.
The Vision
The Deep is a collection of experimental art pieces developed around the central theme of the ocean. These pieces were completed during my undergrad in design at Linfield University. The goal was to utilize Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign to create a cohesive collection while approaching the same subject matter, the deep ocean, in three unique ways.
The Process
The dark blue color palette visually ties the infographic and conceptual pieces together. The first piece depicts a sunken ship using layering techniques in Adobe Illustrator. The second piece utilizes both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign to create a visually engaging infographic. Finally, the third piece uses multiple Adobe Photoshop techniques forming a print that draws the eye using movement and color.
The Deliverables
Each of the 12in x 18in posters were printed on 80lb glossy paper which enhanced the rich colors and visuals.
