The Vision
The Crazy Hat Chemist is a high school teacher who took Covid as an opportunity to create accessible chemistry videos for his students. During a time of disconnect, he provided his students with the chance to continue learning basic and advanced chemistry topics in a fun and meaningful way. To continue bringing his passion and knowledge to students, he needed a brand that would represent his uniqueness and chemistry expertise.
The Process
I worked to create a brand package that reflected the energetic and knowledgeable personality of the Crazy Hat Chemist. The package included a logo, brand color palette, typography, business cards, shirt designs, and a cohesive brand guideline. The visual assets are used throughout his social media and educational materials.
The Deliverables
Since launching his new brand, The Crazy Hat Chemist has produced over 750 educational videos and gained over 1.3k followers. His chemistry videos are so beloved that he began creating cooking videos as well, discussing the chemistry behind the ingredients.
